Default RE: public land with stands

ORIGINAL: early in

Someone sitting in your stand should be the least of your concerns if your determined to leave it,doesn't that beat having it taken?I prefer not having to worry about any of that crap. I carry it in and I carry it out, as per the requirements of the law here in my state.
What happens when one of you guys who leavesyour stand in the woods, comes in at first light and finds there is another hunter very close toyour stand? Unless you have a climber, your screwed, or you disrupt the whole areamoving yours, and if I were the other hunter I'd be pissed![>:]
I totally agree with you. Me personally, I always use my climber on public land, but if I did have a hang on on state land I would have absoutely no problem with someone using it while I was not around. I'd even be ok with finding someone in it, as long as he got down without a problem and went somewhere else. So I guess its personal opinion.
