yep i got skunked I saw 4 turkeys and thats it no deer all weekend because some guy on the land next to where i was out making noise all day cuting down trees and stuff.[:@] How did every one eles do?

Well, I saw a few does, close by too. Had one mama come by about 5 yrds broadside, would have been a nice shot. I sat for a few hours on Sat AM and again Sunday PM. Tooo warm now, but I did see some new stand placements for later in the year. Things are looking good. If it cools down I may have to take a doe or two. I'm looking to get a buddy to do some video for me. He took 3 does, so he is willing to run tha camera for me.
So, is it just you and I now Tbone? No one seems to message anymore.

Went out and hung my last 2 sets. Season doesnt start till the 29th but i cant stand it anymore. Good luck to all this season. Been working alot so havent been messaging alot.

Opening morning I had a buck and a doe walk right under my stand a half hour into legal shooting hours. They looked to be on the small side so I let them walk,even though they were giving me shots that are hard to pass up. Sun. afternoon tried my luck again but failed to see anything in some windy conditions. I tried everything I knew to do,but can anybody give me some pointers on hunting the wind.

Where in Wisconsin Tbone? I'm in Rapids, but I also hunt near Tripoli off Hwy 8 up north. I wont make it up there for a couple weeks, but hope it cools off here a bit as well. Looks like a cold front for MOnday, may have to sit that PM. Good Luck
