Should of been in the stand tonight. Took a 4-wheeler ride around 6 tonight and when I came up to my stand I was in last night there were 6 does and small basket rack and the same 8 pointer from last night standing 10 yards in front of it.

I'm kicking myself for not being there tonight.

Ha sorry to hear about tat illinois buck hunter..... Had the same exact problem tonight also lol, took my fourwheeler to put a lil corn out and put some apple scent out and seen a nice 8 point.. probly around 110-120 inches..

Are any of you guys seeing anything?? I see deer everytime i go out on the fourwheeler but when im in stand i see nothing... i dont get why... Oh well thought only a couple more weeks and the rut begins!!! Im heading to Buffalo County on November 2nd till November 9th so hopefully i'll connect on one down there. Im buying a Reflex Excursion in a hour or two so hopefully that bow will bring me some luck lol..

Heading out to the stand this afternoon hoping to get a crack at that big 8. A buddy of mine just nailed a real nice 140 10 pointer the other day so that has me pumped up to see something on the ground.

Man that is awsome. Havnt been seeing anything lately, went out on Friday the 5th with my Ross and TC hopeing to kill a buck with the bow and a doe with the gun, and didnt see nothing!!! It was like 85 degrees ALL DAY!! and today is like 88 degrees way to hot for Oct. We'll see what Nov. has to offer! Killed a Wicked 14 pointer on the 14th, hope that carma will be good to me.

Well looks like we finally have a cold front coming in. SO i should be leavin Tuesday night for the farm and be in stand for the cold front Wednesday morning...finally Time to hunt!

ya i see that a cold front is moving in up here to but i hafta go pick up my bow tomarrow night.. i bought a Reflex Buckskin so i'll be sighting that in instead of hunting.. good luck to you all

Hoping to get to the stand tomorrow afternoon if the weather is right.Some rubs are starting to show up in many of my hunting spots, but the big bucks are no where to be found.Any pictures of nice deer are all nocturnal, so I think it is still to early for the big boys in my spots.

Yeah the big boys are yet to come out! There are a number ot scrapes showing up and also alot of rubs to!! But we to have a cold front coming in, on the end of the week, supposed to be 59 degrees on SAT, hoping to smack a big one! Once again GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

Well tonight would've been a perfect night for hunting for me, its only 50 degree's but i had to go get my new bow.. I love that thing! its really quiet and powerful/fast. Tomarrow night im gonna site it in and then Thursday night you'll find me in the tree and hopefully getting some meat in the freezer. I took a fourwheeler ride tonight by my dads stand and i seen 3 doe's, 2 fawns and a small 6 pointer. Thats pretty good for around my house with all the mushrooms in the woods, deer love them around here for some reason. Good luck everybody and i hope we can get some points on the board!
