Here are some photos from the goat hunt:

http://hunting.sendphotos.com/storage/shared.aspx(click on 2007 mt. goat in Hunting's story photo album).

I think the photos will give you a good idea of where these beast live. It was a blessing to be up there with em!

Enjoy!

Hows it going boys, looks like I can post again, yeah haw!
I'm one of the guys having trouble with the site so its nice to be heard again.
Our thread was on the bottom of the second page [:'(], can't have that, lets hear a little chatter out there!

Just over two weeks wait for me, and I'm dying with anticipation! Problem is my room-mate is on dissability and wants to hunt my new awsome stand because of its cripple-friendliness, we'll see what happens, I don't mind giving it up, but he can be loud and stinky so I don't want him educating the deer.

To those of you already out there (is it just huck?), gett'r done !!!

I can't wait boys. 2 weeks from monday and I will be huntin'. I'm heading out tomorrow morning to hang a stand or two. It is supposed to be 38 degrees for a low tonight so I'm sure I will really catch the fever when I hit the woods in the morning. Talk to you guys soon. By the way Huck we need you to start killing some deer. All these goats and gators are great but they aren't scoring us any points. Just kidding man congrats again. Have a great weekend guys. Peace

Hey guys I checked my trail camera yesterday and had this guy on there. I can't believe the length of his G2's. I hope to see him during daylight hours. I can't wait to get out there. 15 more days.

Here are some pics I got today. I got a picture of a Buck I saw about 3 weeks ago, but the photo is all blown out, He looks to be a basket rack 6pt. I got a pretty good look at him in a field on the property I hunt thats how I know he's a 6pt, I know you can't tell from the pics, but the body size looks the same and the rack looks about the same. But deffinitly a young deer.

Also here are some of the other pics I got, A Doe and her fawn and another doe.

LOL...trust me Chris, I'm doing everything in my power to nail a buck. I haven't seen anything I care to shoot...yet! I could have burned my tag on a doe Thursday night-couldn't bring myself to do it. We have just under a week lefthere in Colorado. Our season ends next Sunday. I will be hunting other states though. I'm not worried... I will be in Illinios Nov. 2nd-6th.

I had a young lad from Illinois out hunting elk this past weekend. Maybe you know him (Cavan Sullivan-he runs Sullivan's deer scents and pheasant farm somewhere near Springfeild). Anyway, today I had him on a 350-370 class bull. We were just 18 yards away! Long story short, The bull scented us and blew the coop. IS WAS TOO COOL! Cavan was too excited to make the shot. Hisleg was shaking like he had been pumping a sewing machine for three months. When the bull walked away, I said "Cavan you can stop shaking now". Guys, Colorado is absolutely beautiful right now. The aspen trees are golden, the air is crisp, and the bull's are bulging like crazy. I wish ya'll could be here! Here are a few photos...ENJOY!

Last one. This is Mt. Elbert-the highest peak in Colorado (14,700+ feet above sea level)
