Got a major scouting mission going on for tomorrow night. Hopefully, I can bum my bud's camera with the nightshot and get some pics.
I try not to spot in my hunting areas too much, b/c the mature deer spook pretty easily, and they get a little light-shy. Spotlighting is legal in PA until 11 PM, so I'll be out till then tomorrow. Most of the good fields hold deer too far from the road for my Sony 4.1 MP camera, so if I can't get a good video camera, I'll just be going on memories. Haha.
Hey Mike - my wife just got hired full time in a really nice school district (2nd grade).
Gobblergetter - u still cool with being team captain? I think it's yours if u want it.
I have whitetail fever so bad... This is always the absolute worst time of year for me. I can't get anything done at all. LOL

I like The Dark Horses for a team name and I vote Gobblergetter for team captain if he wants the job.
Quick- I live and hunt in Bradford County, alot of deer but not many big bucks. They do seem to kill a niceone every once in a while. A few years ago a guy shot a 160" 10 pointer about 1/2 mile from my house during rifle season. I actually had that buck directly under my treestand during archery season but I couldn't get a shot. But thats a story for another time.

16 - I live and hunt around Westmoreland county, so I'm down in the Ohio River watershed - lots of deer, but an insane amount of hunting pressure down here. Family has a deer camp in Warren, so that's a nice getaway. Hardly any deer there anymore. I hunted my ass off up there for PA rifle and saw 5 deer in 3 days. Buck quality is increasing, hunting pressure (up there) is decreasing. It's only a matter of time before that area starts producing some slammers. Huge acreage up there.
I really do think we are legitdark horses to contend for the title. We have some experienced guys on this team who know what they're doing. That's clutch. Last year, team 17 came out of nowhere and whipped our ass. We thought we were going to waltz to a repeat.

Good job Fran Logo looks good and Thanks. I can't wait but my first hunt is a Colorado Elk hunt. It falls same weekend of the WI archery season so I am going to hit it hard when I get back.
