Hey guys, just thoughtI would start us off on the check in. I was actually on firemedic_79 team last year, was good fun. Once we get settled in we need to pick a team captain, count me out for that as Im going to be to busy, but I'll check indaily dont worry.

Hi Team
We have a strong group here! After we all get checked in, maybe we can all do a quick Bio on ourselves. I'll do that Monday.
In the mean time I'd be honoredto be considered for Team Captain. I have the unfortunate circumstance to have an extreme amount of free time on my hands right now, due to injury. But rest assured I'll be woods worthy by our opener on Sept 29th.
I encourage anyone else who wishes to be Captain, to make it known. We will be democratic about it, and as a team-player I'll rally behind whom-ever we all choose! It's all about the Team now!

Let's get ready to Rock!

Firemedic here...Glad to see you again Diesel. I washappy to see the teams get picked early. I am biting at the bit to get in the woods, but gosh it gotta cool down a bit. Gr8 if you are up to being capt, I'm all for it. I am spending most of my spare time preparing for the 9/15 opener, maybe even finding a last minute lease in northern Missouri for an extra spot when I can get away for a few days at time.

All right...I have sent emails to millertime10 and bawanajim to let them know the teams were picked early. I could not find Mantis in the member list and he wasn't number 41in the sign up thread. I don't know how else to make contact, but hopefullyhe/she will check in soon.

Nick, ask all the questions you like. This is only my second year, but last year was a blast. I looked forward to logging on all the time, hearing what everybody else is doing, what they are seeing, etc. Diesel, I'm sure you already have some trailcam pics...show us what your growing in your part of MD.

Thnx OB, Im watching a few nice ones, that one 9 pt I passed up has grown into a decent buck, I wont pass him up this year. Im sure you will be a real nice contributer to your team, AGAIN. Don't worry about bawanna he'll be around. I now he's on during the week.

Nickasking is the best way to learn and the team concept is awesome. Heck, we'll all ask advice and opinions of others. Just make sure you check in every once in a while.

And as a reminder to all: Make sure before the season you reread the rules. We'll need pictures of your buck, yourself and your bow all in the picture together, for the score to count. I'd hate to see someone get a nice one and miss the points on a technicality.

Nice buck there Diesel...I've got lots a pics of 1.5 y.o. and 2.5 y.o. Bucks so far. But I've been limited on where I could get to set my camera. No "shooters" to speak of but they're around.

I picked up permission on a nice piece of property Friday. It really has me excited.

Glad Gr8 said he has the time and woulden't mind being Captain of the team, as long as theres no conflict with the other members that have not checked in yet, looks like it's a done deal!

I will be Hunting around O.C./Berlin the end of Oct, My son (Rutnut) is out there working and keeping an Eye on a Couple of Big ones for me.
Rutnut is on team 14 when I get there, Ill flick a couple of Buggers around his stand for the team :DHa Ha jusk kidding!

Thnx GR8 and Nick.Ive glassed a few bigger ones but havent put any cameras where they are feeding this year, Im leaving that area undisturbed until opening day. Last season I put a camera up with some corn where they were entering the beans in mid August, and after about 4 days they bugged out,a weekbefore bow season and I never saw them again on my camera.GR8, Im sure that big one will come strolling by when you least expect it, seems like thats how it always happens.

Im from Damascus MD, its central northern part of MD. I was just in OC last week for vacation. There are some big deer out on the shore there Silver.

You know that's whats wierd I put a camera on some corn.. somewhat near my one stand that I callmy obeservation stand (cuz I can get into it quickly and silently when time is short, like after work once time changes).
I have pics of 8 different bucks..all young ones small 6's and smallish 8's..Not 1 doe not 1 fawn..just young bucks.

The Son has videoed some real nice ones there, I got to hunt it a few days, 2 seasons ago and was impressed. Seen some Big ones, just did not have enough time to connect, This year Im taking the time.

Guys let's be putting some thoughts on a name. If we can agree on something quick, maybe we can get Ryan to whip us up one before the rush. Unless we have any team members good at the avatar stuff.?. I could do something, but it would be hacky in comparison to what a someone of Ryans ability could do.

So now I think this is the time where we show off our wives/girlfriends. No wait no that's a lil after we all say a little bit about ourselves.

I'm turning29 in 6 days. Bowhunted since the age of 14. Have ababy boy due on Sept. 17th. Work as a Firefighter and do a little Surveying on the side. Hunting only in NY this year and am good for around 120inches if I don't drop the ball like last year and do something as stupid as close on a home the day before season. Good god that sucked[:@] That's enough about me for now. It's time to go sling some chit at the other teams!

Whats up Mantis nice to meet u . I am also 29 I have two kids a little girl who is 5 that loves hunting about as much as i do she is alredy asking when she can kill a deer. I also have a little boy who will turn 1 on Sept 30th Ive been bowhunting since i was about 13 not awhole lot of luck early on but havent done bad since then. Have a beutiful and very understanding wife that lets me go hunting just about anytime i want no complaints she likes the meat as much as me . Look forward to talking to ya all soon
