gotta loooooooooooooove acorns Jim! Thats where I go around Oct 1. Oak groves have been goldmines for me the last 5 years. I hunt bean field edges the first 2 weeks just because I have deer feeding aptterned there. But after oct 1 when the buck groups are all broken up and the acorns are droping like candy, thats where I head.

AWESOME bucks diesel, hope you get a crack at that mainframe 8 or 9, he is obviously bigger than the others, but there are a few different shooters in that bunch, looks like they have lots of potential.

acorns are killer, just gotta find the right kind. if you ever find a white oak patch that is droppin heavily, you have found a goldmine. too bad the only white oak patch ive ever found, is on a farm i have no permission to hunt.

MAn, we went dead oh here....hope everyone is out scouting and finding the big boys. It is wet and rainy here, just a good day to lay around. Just thought I would get us back to the top

Still here miller Have been busy shooting and working. Went to the races last night at the local dirt track and a guy that i help rolled his race car six or seven times! Its trash now but we will be building him another car this week so i wont be on here awhole lot this upcoming week. But i will keep checking in when i get a chance. I hope everyone is getting as exicited about this season as i am!!!!!!!!!!

Its rainy here also. Went out to another one of my hunting properties for the first time today and set up some trail cameras, the ones I took down yesterday. I have seen some big boys over here the last few years. I'll check the cameras Thursday and see whats going on at this farm.

Busy weekend. I had to take some stuff to my daughter at collage this morning.Then to New York to check the farm and this afternoon was spent canning green beans & watching it rain.[:'(]
