Well, I got a couple stands moved this weekend, and I am now ready for Oct. 1st. I will be able to get out that evening but Ithink I will be taking the video camera instead of my bow. I have been trying to get a hunt on film for awhile now but it seems everyone is to selfish to set their bow down and hold the camera, including myself.

I just won a 1 year membership to gametraxx.com. It looks pritty cool but I'm not sure its worth the $30 a year. I'mreally interested in being able to build some reports with it.

Less then a week to go here in Illinois. I can't wait.

Only got till saturday, seems like it taking forever to get here. I get my driving permit early next week so hopefully i dont miss any hunting that day. Good luck guys, and hope u bag some big ones for the team. Checked my game cam today out at my woods and had 4 different bucks on it. biggest was a decent 8 point that scores around 110". All the bucks meet the 5 point min. for PA. Hope to tag one around the beginning of november (i had a small pile of corn out there to see what was out there, had no idea i had bucks like that out in our woods which is only 2 acres[:@]).

Dang it's hot here. Sweated all day at work. Hoping it cools down for this weekend. Supposed to be in the 70's. Hope things are going good for all.

Opening day tomorrow!Can't wait. Hope to put the smackdown on a big buck for the team. Who else's seasons starting tomorrow? I know i am gonna put the smackdown on atleast a doe.

today was a bust[&o]. The full moon mudt be having an affect on them. Saw 4 ruffed grouse, and 14-18 squirrels, and a hawk try to take my head off

Get em next time crazedbowhunter! Yea, the full moon prolly had em up feeding all night and they might not be moving til after dark because of that. I'll be out next weekend, and I am pumped to try a new spot!

It's been hot here to, low's about 60 and high's in the 80's, you can smell the change in the air now, its getting to feel like fall somewhat, and our leaves are starting to fall from a very dry year, but that just means i can see better when the woods opens up someone is gonna put one on the board soon for team 41, i can feel it, good luck everyone, have a great time.

I was extremely windy and warm this weekend here in KS as well. Season opened today, but I won't be able to get out until Saturday. Good luck to you guys hunting!
