I sat in the shoe department for 20 mins holding the boot. I did not even want to try them on. I am just replacing my 10 year old pair. Noboby help me, so I went home[:-] My buddy is the store manager. I gave him some crap this morning;) |

ORIGINAL: quiksilver Gary - I just got my predator stuff in. Went with the Cabela's silent weave w/scentlok. I actually ordered the jacket, figuring that I'd hate it and return it (I'm a real whiner about how my clothes fit - and I have monkey arms, so most jackets don't have long enough sleeves - or they're huge around the gut). Anyway, it all fit perfect. Really nice stuff - you won't be disappointed. The pants run small though. I'm a 32, but the 34" waistis actually pretty snug (34" inseam). You're pretty short and chubby, so you might needa bigger size. You can just cut thebottom 12-15" off the legs to get the length right. They might even sell Predator capri pants - you might wanna call and check.  Seriously though - you guys have a pretty good team and will havea legit chance to win. Best luck. Everyone on my team already thinks I'm a weirdo b/c I suggested that we call ourselves "The Rainbow Brites" or "Richard Simmons and the Pink Flamingos." LMAO I think they wanna trade me. I used my Iron mace money for all this stuff. I also have Full ASAT Sitka Gear Suit Coming in ASAT with the Beenie Full Generation 2 Enigma suit coming I am going to give all my old stuff to some kids. I had to order an Extra large Jacket for my shoulders. I am sure you got the extra small;) |

Tyler, sounds like fun,
I mostly quit squirrel hunting because my squirrel woods is basically my deer woods. IMO really not good for bowhunting to walk through the woods blasting away. But I used to love it. Killing a mess of wild squirrels in the woods can be more of a challenge than a lot of people think, and it is good experience for younger hunters. Our Cajun camp cook would insist on cooking the squirrel heads. Ever tried squirrel brains? = tasty.:D There is nothing better than coming back from a cold hunt to some steamin, fallin off the bone squirrel and gravy on a pile of white rice. That and put it on white bread with some marinated onions.  |

I don't advise anyone to eat it, although it tasted pretty good.
About 3 or 4 years ago there was a lot of talk about a link between mad cow disease (or a similar brain disease) and eating squirrel and cow brains. I think it was in West Va. or Kentucky. I don't eat them anymore. It's a dying delicacy. :( |

Hey guys, just got in about 45 minutes ago. Got the Big buck contest locked and ready for regional breakdowns... That should be fun as well.
Ok.. Wow you guys have been busy as usual around here. I spent all day getting ready for my Antelope hunt. I am leaving at6 am in the morning until the 21st..22nd... I have the camper and dodge ready to go. I am picking up my cousin Trouthunter down near Boise and then we are driving over to our hunting area, it looks like about 12 hours of driving tomorrow. I am gonna take my cell phone and will try to stay in touch via the interent with it if I get service. Trout (Scott is basically showing me his oldhoney hole andfilming my hunt for me) what a cool cousin eh.. I'm hooking him up for whitetails this fall.. Plus hes gonna wire my garage... lol John, your work looks very nice. Nice bucks too, you knock one down every year it seems! Like I said, I got a bear in the freezer right now... ;) Gary, you really went to town today...with the Order, I cant talk much...I just ordered 4 sets of ladder sticks and a new stand, 5 lock cables and 6 extra ratchet straps, some deoderant and powder for the not so fun to put deoderant places! LMAO .. I am shaved and ready for antelope!!!!!!!!! hahahahhaha ...I love getting ready! Rybo, yup party central in here. We better kill some bucks.... hahaha Jeff, I have a feeling you and your buddyyou've been getting on trail cam are gonna have a date with destiny ... cant wait to see him.. OK GUYS... I dont mind being the loan ranger.. on this subject..but I dont know about the buck humping the decoy all season.. Hey I think its funny as heck but ...not sure I can look at that for 5 months..IT reminds me of that FUZZY WUZZY bunny QUICK..propositioned us with for two seasons! So hard getting those wrinkles in the formto show through the hide- did you just flesh them that thin, or were they early season kills (before the winter coat grew in)? Gorgeous work bro. Finally got to the end of reading all these post's. If this was the NFL on draft day,the other owners would be screaming for an internal investigation!:DGeez! Illinois,Iowa,Missouri,Kentucky,Indiana,Ohio,some fellow who is a Video Prostaffer,there are no big bucks in Idaho either! You guy's have mostly a great bunch of folks.:DDefinitely the odds on favorites to take this contest.Good luck to you all,I hope that you all shoot the bucks of your dreams!

Quick, Those 2 bucks were early season, 1 Oct. 1st and the other Sept.22. The form actually has the wrinkles in it which helps. And I have a buddy who does taxi full time. He tans my hides for me and does shave them pretty thin too. That helps also. tsoc, Thanks for the support, hope we can live up to the hype!:D |
