Although I'm not on your team , I think it's a toss up between ( Spooning Deer is better than Tagging Deer ) and ( Going Traditonal can'thit theDeer Anyway ) we all know you guys can't take the pressure so thats out. :D

I see we officially have a name. I certainly hope we cause a little CHAOS out in the woods. I know I plan to.

I just planted my Harvest Plot in my backyard. A combination of Whitetail Institutes Winter Greens, Chickory, Clover, and some Soy Beans thrown in for good measure. It's only about a 1/4 acre, but I am hoping for some good results. I sweated my arse off this morning working it up but the work will be well worth it if the deer enjoy it.

The only problem is I may give mobo the first shot at getting a buck there. Just depends how much smack he starts talking!:D

Well I am with you John, so I added one more option...

I'm ready to stir it up a little and back it up this year.. I say 43 is the team to beat.. I think this team is made up offolks that will do just fine under pressure! ;)

Allright Team CHAOS.. I am outta here for the day, I got trail cameras to to check, tree stands to pull and move...I havent been this hungry to hunt whitetails since 03! and that was my best year on two big bucks...GOD BLESS THE "CHAOS"... catch ya later guys...

Square miles mostly here John. Big country out here andlots of public and timber company ground. That picture there is on timber company ground butted up against federal about 100 yards down below us there.. I can hunt all the timber company ground but then again so can others.. This piece is kind of land locked behind my home though so I dont see to many bowhunters in there during early season.. mostly elk hunters..

These boys wont let me go alone anymore.. its cool..even my 4 yr old is getting tough and he knows hes gotta hike it..on his own.. we put about a mile of hiking in and out today total.. little guy kept up with big brother today..he was proud of himself.. ;)

Nice bucks John,

Spent all our money on stands and had a couple cams stolen and don't work, so other than
walking/scouting, no pics here. That is on the list for next year.

But they are hitting the clover and milo hard right now, and we found a couple good staging areas
(one in white oaks) off thick mitigation land and clover, and a some big crossings off a canal that
runs that through our property.

Went scounting tonight and did not see a damn thing, man I though it was all about location:eek:

I think the deer are in the fields I can not see from the road. Time to get the boat out and do a little scouting.

I was out for a little while tonight too. Set up my camera and watched a bean field. Only saw 1 doe before it got dark. I don't blame the deer for staying in the woods till after dark these days tho. It got up to 102* today. Sure hope it cools off before Sept. 15.
