The tournament this weekend went pretty good. I was happy with my shooting with the exception of a few targets. I don't think I will place, but it sure was good practice. I was looking at the calender....Iowa archery opens October 1st,which is a Monday. I won't be able to hunt until the weekend.....so I'm looking at October 6th .

zubba you didn't go to the tourney at bass pro did you? I know they had one there this weekend I wanted to go and check it out but I had a softball tourney on saturday and then when I go there on sunday they had just finished up so I did not get to see any of it

looks like great weather for opening day this weekend here in nebraska high in the low 70s with over night lows of low 50s better than last year when it was highs of around 90 still in september, the only thing that could make my weekend better is if the huskers can pull there heads out of there butts and beat USC this weekend(GO BIG RED!!!!!)

No Bass Pro tourney. The tourney I shot was in SW Wisconsin. I think there was around 150 shooters. It is normally a pretty good size tourney because it is the weekend before opening weekend in Wisconsin.

When I hear 'Go Big Red' I only think of the Badgers. Altough they damn near blew it at UNLV this past weekend. I got tickets to the Wisconsin vs Iowa game in a couple weeks. Should a good one......so Go Big Red (not the huskers, but the badgers) (altough not a Nebraska fan, I would like to see USC go down)
