Hey guys, Our bow season ends tomorrow and this guy came by this afternoon so I gave him the blade. He aint my best but he's pretty dang good for PA. I'll tape him tomorrow but I figure he's 120'ish with two missing tines. I didnt pry his jaw open and age him but my buddy and I have a strong hunch that this guy may be on the downhill side of life. He is really rutted out and extremely thin.

I just aged him from the jawbone using photos and illustrations from three different websites andhe's either 4 1/2 or 5 1/2.

Thats almost a geezerhere in Pensylvania.


Hey guys, I just did a quick count and if the contest ended today, we're in 5th place. At first I was disappointed but then I realized that puts us in the top 10%

Of course there still may be a 300" buck out there to put us over the top

Congrats buddy, he is a pig and to get him in late season....RESPECT!!!! Been there, done that, don't wanna do it again! Those 10 degree mornings with 20 mph winds and no leaves to break it, mixed with the insanely pressured deer..... just doesn't do anything for me

Well guys, I'd say it's over for us. Unless there's a real 11th hour entry, we finished 5th. Top 10%. Not the champs, but damn respectable considering the average ability among the company we keep on here.

It's been great being teamed up with a few old friends and just as great meeting some new ones.
