Hey guys, keep trying and having fun hunting. Good luck this weekend for you guys that are just getting started. I have been seeing some small bucks and quite a few does. Another week and a half and the chaseing should start up. I don't know where the few guys are that never check in Tony. I suppose if they get a buck they will be on and post it. Lets hope so anyway. Solo, go hammer that buck man. You can get it done. Have a good weekend men. Chris

Well the deer were moving ..... the only shot I could have had was at a nice looking 6 pointer ... 70" maybe ..... saw another buck but he didn't come close enough ... saw many doe .. none came in range .....all in all a very nice first day (I only hunted until noon ... wife fractured her elbow and wrist last weekend)

Well I've been out hunting in the evenings for the past several days with no luckand I finally get to hunt in the morning on sunday...so hopefuly I will have better luck and see some deer moving then and hopefully a decent Buck! [&:]

I've seen a few does and a button buck,but there really staying in the corn were I'm hunting, farmer said it will come off in a few days barring rain doesn't set in. Forecast is rain 6 out of 7 days this week. The bucks are making a lot of scraps, every morning the scraps look fresh without leaves and fresh tracks. I'm really looking forward to Oct. 30th to Nov. 15th. year after year that time of year is best in my area for bucks cruising and chasing does. I'll keep after them until then.

Half of us can get the job done. I think the others will check in if they get a buck. I saw some chaseing going on a little this morning. About another week and a half and the big boys will start showing their mugs. Good luck team. Chris
