I have high hopes for my Cowboys, but time will tell.

Well I don't have a team in Nebraska and I abolutely hate the Broncos if that doesn't tell you who I like I don't know what will. The defense looks stellar once again and the offense can only get better becuae it couldn't be any worse than last year.

Oh BTW they wupped up on the Steelers last year, hint hint.

Those are some nice deer John. When does your season start?

Wheatley, so I am guessing that you are a Raiders fan then. My neighbor is a die-hard raiders fan. I am surprised that the score against the Steelers was as low as it was. The Steelers sucked in that game.

My season starts in 32 days.....(Sept 29th). I may very well lose my mind before it gets here.....

I will start going to the bow shop once or twice a week. They have a techno hunt where I can "kill" whitetails. It is only 20 yards, but it helps me cope with the waiting.....LOL.

Ron, That game was all defense. Hopefully they can put some offense up this year. It can not get any worse so they can only get better hopefully.

I have 16 more days and I am going nuts. On Monday I am heading up to a ranch and they guy is taking me on a tour so I know where I can hunt. I will be hunting antelope on this ranch and hoepfully be able to get op there in the next couple of weeks.

I was getting real pumped up with 30 days to go, until the bow mishap took place. Now I took Beagles advice and leaving it lay for now. Hopefully it was just me. Once this season is over though, I am going to get a new bow. Not sure which one yet, but it is priority #1.

I was finally able to get out and shoot the bow and finish sighting in the 30-60 yard pins. The last four shots I took at 60 yards two arrow were touching about 2" high so I moved the pin up a little and shot the last two in the 5 ring on a 5 spot target. The first two had the pin been lower would have both been X's. I think I am good to go now. Next time it will be broadheads only just to verify each pin and each broadhead is flying good.

Ron there are a lot of really good bows out there now. I really, really like my Mathews Drenlin. You might give one a look when you are ready to shop. My short ass 27" draw is pushing 291 fps with 100 grain tips and a cheetah 400 arrow and it is very quite.
