Well I took a doe last night. 30yard standing broadside with her head behind a tree. Just too good of a shot to pass up and I still have room in the freezer so I nailed her. nice double lung and she went about 30 yards. Once again the spitfire worked flawlessly, but this time it looked like a red carpet.
Now I am down to 4 tags so I need to take a few days off. This is the luckiest that I have ever been in my life. Saturday I was in the stand about 15-20 minutes and last night I was only up for about 15 minutes. Not too bad half an hour in the stand and 2 deer down.[8D]

Too tired Saturday to get up at the crack of dawn, however I got to get everything ready for Sunday morning. Got out just before daylight and went to my favorite (Public land) place. Got situated on the ground and he got up 30 yards from me and hopped away. No shotdid I have. Just starting to rub trees. No scrapes did I find. Came out fairly early and worked up a sweet load for the Muzzleloader. It got up to 75 degrees fast and I don't care to hunt in that high of a temperature. I'm going down to Southern Iowa when I get off work tonight(Thursday morning) and hang tree stands and hunt that evening in otherstand that is already up in place. Bucks are still running together but they are sparing. Wish me luck and pray that we all have a good harvest....
HAPPY HUNTING!!!!!
