Well my trip to Kentucky was not productive in anyway shape or form. I might possibly go back next week. I have not spent alot of time in the area where I have permission to hunt. I do have an ariel photo and a topo map of the area. I spent some time down there forKentucky's latearchery season and saweverything that makes a hunter happy as far as sign goes.I do know there is a corn field on top of one of the ridgesandon the way up the ridge is nothing but white oaks. I set up on a logging road that leads to a 2 acre food plot in a bottom, with about 15 tube feeders around it. I thought for sure I was going to at least see movement. Isaw some song birds and a hawk. I do not have to work Monday or Tuesday so I will possibly get back down there if the weather is right.

VERY NICE DEER! He'll look real good on your wall. I also vote for Turkeystalker. Went hunting in northeast MO this weekend. Very hot Saturday, high in mid-80's. No luck, too much standing corn and heat. To top it off,saw some thunderstorms this morning, complete with gusting winds, steady downpours and lightning. Oh well, better luck next time.

I think turkeystalker would make a mighty fine team captain.
Good luck to you all in the woods.
