Hey APA, I will second that. I can tell that badshotbob is a 'take charge' kind of guy. I have not done one of these before, which doesn't really mean that much, but just not sure what it all involves.

As my name implies, I'm from Kansas City, Missouri, and I don't get out into the country much but I love the opportunity to get out and experience 'the hunt'. For some reason it's all I can really think about. I'm sure you can all relate. I'll be hunting 3 areas this year. Close by is a 2,400 acre, archery only, conservation area. It's really nice and I spotted two really nice bucks in early January at the end of last years season. I hope they are still around. My neighbor invited me to hunt his place in Central MO, but it's south of the MO river and don't really expect too much. I'm really excited about hunting a 600 acre private property that probably won't have any other archers on it. It's in prime NE Missouri country. I still have some work to do on that area, but it will definately be the most promising.
Sounds as if we are still waiting for two guys to check in...WHERE are YOU????

One more to go and we have a team...

So far:
deertale
badshotbob
Mr E
KCMO Cityboy
triggertrav
SmokinVFT
APAjaws
jachunter
Gadeerslayer

We need to get:
Gamehunter1269

I'd be more than happy to be team captain if all others agree. I'm not sure what that entails, but it seems to be a requirement of all teams.

It sounds as if we have a strong team with some great property to hunt, which always helps as you know.

KCMO, this is funny:

For some reason it's all I can really think about. I'm sure you can all relate.
Nah. I can't relate at all. It seems that every year at this time my mind starts to make the transition from summer activities to full on obsession with deer hunting. By our opener here in MI on October 1st, I'm about out of my mind.

Any others want to throw in for a name?

Here's the list so far:
Widowmakers
Broadside 20
38 special
horns on the wall
rack em
blade masters
buck masters
antler aggressors
team massive horns
broadhead boss
the antler authority
team horn hammer
antler aces
treestand snypers
Let one Rip (although could be taken the wrong way )
kill'em and grill'em
tanned hides

I'm all for badshotbob as the team captain. The only idea that I can come up with for a name is "Buck Slayers".

Since it's a bowhunting comp we should stick to something relevant to that. So I would say that anything gun related be tossed out the door.
We could go with something like broadhead brothers[8D]

Alright guys, hope you don't mind, but I liked the Broadhead Brothers name so much I whipped up a logo to place in our avatars if we all like it. If we don't all like it and decide not to use it but explore a different name, that's more than fine too.

Let me know what you think.

With a logo like that, we are a force to be reckoned with. I like it - obviously. Uh, are there any women on our team?
