I like both the red and silver writing. Which ever one you like should be the one we use.

When I tried to put the one with red writing in my profile just to see what it looked like it said that the file was too large. I think the KB are to big. It can only be 10 and this one is around 25 KB. The dimensions are good.

ORIGINAL: dagger buck 2

Just got back from a morning hunt. Yesterday was pretty quite for seeing deer because only had a couple does come by me.

This morning was quite cool. I sat on the edge of a slew/weedsthat had right by it a greened up barley field and a worked up wheat field. After sitting for 20 - 30 minutes I heard something coming, but never got to see it because it was still and half anhour before light and it also cut throughon the other side of the slew/weeds. I also had a small 4 x 4 come by about 10 yards away and a 2 1/2 4 x 4.He had good G2 but that was about it. Did see a big 3 x 3 ( always bump into this buck ). He is the first buck that I have seen out of velvet in our area.

There was a bigger buck later on when I was exiting my spot. With him there was a smaller buck and about a dozen does and fawns out in the CRP butthey just had to come back about 400 yards away at least.[:@] He had really good mass and good brows. He was a 5 x 5 but did not have the greatest G2 and G3. He was still in velvet. Probably 145 - 150. He's a shooter.

What Capt. Tyler failed to say was how hepull a fast one on dear ole dad and setup to catch the deer coming andwreck mychance at them. Says he accidently got messed up in the dark!!! Competeing against dear ole dad for the sake of " THIS team "... oh the shame!! []

Then heis diss-ing the buck I am going to shoottomorrow morning while he is at school. I thinkthe buck's G2s and G3's are just fine and will be a great buck for Team 26!!

Tyler

He was running with the does again and the 3x3 this morning. The two small bucks were with the group also. As luck would have it, he came back along the line were we setup last time. [:@] [:@] I only had a few does come by me so I boogied out early.

He decided to really rub it in and stopped on the hill I was glassing from that day. Got a good look at him this morning. Not much for G4s. Too bad as he has really good mass and brow tines. Main beams seem a little short too. He probably won't go much better then 140.

I took a drive down by Kangas's place to kill time before coming to work. There is a pretty nice 5 pt down there. Guessing 140 -145 or so. Weak on mass.

I might get to leave work early today. Be ready!!!!!!!!!! Wind is suppose to switch to the North. Look at our cheat sheets. Figure out were you want to go.

Dad
