Thanks for the kind words! I was pretty pumped. We watched the buck for about an hour, until he finally decided to check a popular scrape, just 20 yards from the stand. It's a KS buck, that I have seen a few times, and even have a few game camera pictures of and velvet footage of. It's my first time to see him out of velvet though.

Wow! That's a buck of a lifetime! I see the possible split G-2 but whatever the score he's still a slammer! The fact that you and your wife were together and filmed it makes it all that much better. I guess you'll be behind the camera now while she goes after something bigger

Now that you mentioned it... I'm have 3 work days of vacation(5 total)planned for next week, that I've alreadytaken for a hunt. I have another buddy going with me though, so I'll just tag along. Even if i'm not hunting, it'sstill just to get out there.

Its been a while since I've had a chance to post. Not much to say other then I am getting sick of drying corn. Looks like another week of combining if the weather holds. I did manage to get upcaught drying for the moment. After 2 straight weeks of late hours, the boss is letting me off for a morning hunt. Once the corn is done... I will get some hunting in.

What a brute of a buck!!! Congrats!!!!!!! While most would say it is a buck of a life time... I hope it is one of many for you. Your area sure can produce monsters from what I've seen of your trail cam pics, sheds picsand the bucks you have shot. Great you got to share it with your wife. I hope shegets a monster or two this year also. You both put a lot of effort into your hunting. Seems to be paying off!! Congrats again!!
