RE: 12- Team Official Thread
duckdog132 I love it!!! I had to get used to the roll over butI was alsocoming from shooting a Mathews which is very smooth. What sold me on it was the follow through when I released, it felt " normal " just like ( speaking of old time RD ) my GoldenEagle Hawk ( which I still Have ) it fits like a glove and for me thats important. I had my mind set on a Switchback and Rob/Pa ( my long time friend and hunting partner ) called and told me to wait and shoot the big three. Trykon, Switchback, and the Bowtech Allegience. All three were great and worth the purchase but the comfort and follow through won out. I'm shooting around 289 fps with my 27' Gold tips. Rob chose the Bowtech Allegience with the speed cams which is fast,( speed cams ) smooth to draw with a nice follow through shooting around 305fps but you have hold back tp the wall, any creeping and the bow will release forward no forgiveness in the inching up area. Our good friend tkycaller has a Switchback, again great bow smooth draw nice follow through on the lower end of the fps but it didnt have the feel for me. If or before you choose shootall three and go for the change but Duck The Trykon is SWEET.

Well my fellow team mates it's official , I'm done as of 11:36 am today August 31st 2006 I retired from G.M. Willow Run Power Train after 31 years.
I here by declare myself a full time hunter from this day forward , Tomarow morning I'll go out to my happy hunting grounds and hang up my treestands then just spend the whole day there.
When my season starts Oct. 1st I'll take my old relic and get in to one of my stands and enjoy my time out there.

Congrats RD, that must be an awesome feeling. Maybe in about 30-35 years I can say the same thing. I can't complain too much, I landed a great job right out of college. Congrats again and enjoy!!

Hey RD, from one team to another, from one bowhunter to another, congratulations...now, from what I understand by the few retirees that I know, they say they are busier after retirement....can't figure out how they got stuff done working full time...find time to hunt...LOL then again....you are the opposition...keep busy.
