How's the scouting going. Anybody see any shooters yet?
I'm headed to Ohio to check on our lease and do some scouting Sept. 9th.
I think it should be a pretty good year. Our team seems to have a good variety.

Here is the lone shooter I have so far. I have tons of potential monster in the next 1-2 years. I just moved a camera to a different farm for the first time this year. It's usually got some monsters.

I hope he doesn change his pattern. Those are the only two pics I have of this guy. I've constantly been moving the cameras since to find him but he is MIA. I think I have some pics of him from last year, so he has to be in the area. Just a matter of where. I'm confident I'll see him again though!

Here's my food plots....
The first is the sorghrum I planted around the edge to creat a visual block. The second is the tecomate max attract. The third is a tecomate monster mix plot after being mowed.

Here is LAST YEARS pic of one of the bucks dad saw yesterday while shredding roads on the lease. He is a tough nut, never saw him in person last year, but did get several pics of him. I don't have my camera up out there yet, maybe next week. He saw another real nice one too, and lots of smaller stuff for next year.

You guys got me chompin' at the bit with all the great photo's and food plots. Kentucky's bow season starts this Saturday, September 2nd and I'm on to a couple of Monster's...

The fellow I work with is going to Cleveland and watch his rookie sonplay tonight in their lastNFL pre season game. I'm leaving Friday mornin' and going deep into the woods until Monday evening.
