I think that last year it was around late August or early September.

I agree, we shouldn't even consider signups until Mid August....too many will sign up and never return as what happened last year.

The only problem I have with signing up as late as Mid-August is that Washington's early season opens on September 1st. Unless the contest is more organized than last year I think registration should be opened as early as late July and end in Mid-August that way everyone is situated by the beginning of the first archery opener.

I have to agree with you washington. It should all be done by the end of July. It seems a lot of people need help with pre-season scouting, stand placement, selecting the perfect deer and accurate shooting. Fortunately, Team Elite Eight is available, for a small fee, to provide the special training to give them that edge.

That's what September hunting is all about man... I saw some real nice bucks in September last season sitting in a stand over looking an alfalfa field.
