It's been awhile since I posted, so let me tell you guys what I saw this weekend. Moved my stand early Sat. morning. On my way out of the woods, my Dad and I saw.....if I was guessing.....at least a 150 class buck with a droptine on his left side(at least that is what it looked like to both of us). The best part is he was only 100 yards (give or take) from my new stand location. I know there are nice bucks in this area, and I hope to get a chance!!!

Here's a pic of a Doe, from one of my "bowhunting food plots"I mixed some leftover summer seed and some winter seed together and planted it! Don't know if that works but the deer arein it for sure! The only real stress our deer herd feel down hereis the late summer when all the plants are spent and not as palatable anymore. The acorns haven't fallen yet and the deer have to find something to eat. It's also usually still really hot and that's just another problem for those rascals! I did see two spotted fawns last week so that's good!
