Hey guys, I hope everyones weekend went well. Give me a month or twofellas on the rattling antlers, I am shed hunting pretty hard right now and scouting, then comes bear and turkey... I will get them put together once I have some hours to get up to the shop and work them up, not to mention I will use some of the finds I am getting right now. Hope all is well...
I bought a camera, the Canon Power Shot a410...so far I really like, just got it ...this weekend. 3.2 mega-pixels

You'll like that digital cam. I got a good deal on the 4MP model, soI took the bait, but I actually leave mine set on 3MP resolution so that I can fit more pictures on the memory stick. I can't tell a difference between the high-res and medium resolution pictures that I take. I'm pretty sure that you'd have to be blowing them up to poster-size to notice. Then again, I'm half blind and a little slow.
So Troy, now I'm being serious here... and I don't want any fibbing [8D]
When we first assembled this little group of ragtag misfits, did you really think that we were going to unthrone the Elite Eight and become the bowhunting champions of the world?

Quick,
I really like the camera. What sold me on the 3.2 was that the guy there at walley world had the same camera, loves it and showed me several pictures of eagles he had been taking. Like he told me as long as I stay at 8x11 and smaller my resolution would be great. I told him what I would predominately be using the photos for and he agreed for the 128.00 dollar price tag I couldnt go wrong. I also have a 35 mm canon that I have shot pictures with for the last decade. Canon kind of has me. My video camera is a Canon Gl2..I am by no means a camera guru...I have had good luck with Canon though..so far so good
Did I think we could win the competition at first?Honestly, I was initially just looking forward to making some new cross country friends...I had followed you and Ryan's posts, I knew right off when I saw our first rosteryou guys were savvy hunters, I began thinking...this team has a sold core of guys..I thought we had a shot at putting 3-5 bucks in the contest. Once I got to know everyone and realized we had a bunch of great guys that would be hunting some darn good areas across the country,I really started to think that we might have a chance. I plan on killing a good buck yearly, and realized so did you guys.
I will say this now, I am very thankful I was placed on such a great team of Men. Good men...I can't wait to hunt with Ryan and Mike this fall and look forward to hunting with more of you guys in the years to come. I hope we can stay in touch. I would like to make a run at it next year and stay on top for few years..selfishly just so we will stay in touch!
Good luck on the Bar, remind me again..are you taking it soon or have you already?? get me up to speed..thanks..

Troy - I took it two weeks ago. I'll probably get my score back in mid-April, just in time to throw a whale of a party or totally wreck my summer. You're never sure how you really fared, but I think I might've passed this time around. I'm cautiously optimistic.

CONGRATS ANTHONY!!!!!
Glad to see that little bundle of Joy!
The whole name thing can be difficult!, Ours was actually quite easy when I saw he was a boy.
Let us know when you have the name picked out.
Take care - and I hope both you and mama can get some rest!
