MB, youse done good!
Way to go. We should all do that well.
Speaking of which, I drooled all over my spotting scope this morning before coming to work. Watched a dandy 5 pt (that's 5x5) for about 10 minutes before he disappeared into the woods. Got the route mentally marked for the weekend.

Nice work mamasboy, way to put up the first points for the team!
I haven't checked in for a while but here's what I've been up to
Thursdayevening I failed to connect with a mid 120 class buck. It was a 30 yard shot in an open field and I pushed the shot and missed him low. Very dissapointed in myself. It was a thrilling hunt though because I stalked him as he was feeding in an open field. I had come up over the crest of a ridge and seen him feeding seventy yards away. So, I backed down and tried to get in front of him. When I crested the ridge again I was still behind him because he was feeding away from me. Well, light was fading so I decided to get on my hands and knees and see if I could close the distance. He countinued to feed away and every time he looked up he looked in the opposite direction, so everything was going my way. I got to within 30 yards and decided it was now or never, took the shot and I fell to a heap as the deer bounded away untouched. I should not have missed the shot by no means. I must have had a case of the fever! Would have made for a great hunt!
Anyways I'll still be out five days a week so hit em hard boys! Good luck!
