Never got to go on my last day. I planned on a nice afternoon hunt but was reminded of plans we had made already.:(

Two years in a row..........no buck. Two years in a row no real opportunity at a nice buck. Maybe I should have taken the shot back in the rut at a very big buck, but he was in the really thick stuff and it would have been a marginal shot at best. Guess I should have because another guy shot him with a shotgun a 1/2 mile away two weeks later. One doe in the freezer, not one of my better seasons.

Well Coug it's better to go without then to take a marginal shot and maybe wound one. Better luck next year.

I'm happy as a virgin at the Bunny Ranch!!!!! I'm cleared for another hunt at my honey hole. I plan on shooting something guys. It doesn't have to be big but I guess we can only look for second place.Anything over 70 gets us there.

Well guys, god was not on my side. Thurday morning brought 22' and 40 mph winds. Never even got out of bed. Thursday afternoon I was getting all of my ducks in a row to make an evening hunt and it was going well until the last stop, The US Post Office. My only question is why do we pay for such abuse. Unfortunately, I got out very late and not in my favorite spot. I had to settle into the best place I could find but only had does show up before dark.

I'm sorry to let you all down this year. Wish I had more time to get into the woods. I might try another day next week. I just can't let it go. I'll let you know if I do get out and shoot one.

Guys, I did make it out one last time on the last day of the year. It bothered me not putting a buck on the board for you all. Unfortunately, my bad luck followed me into the woods again. My Friend put me in his stand where earlier all I saw were bucks except for about 4 does. That night I had shots at one person, 2 little yappy dogs and 1 doe. Sorry guys. Next year I think I'm taking a trip to Canada. I hope to get on another team with as many of you as possible. It's been fun.

That's OK mouse. Has anybody heard from 02b he was supposed to have killed one but it's not posted yet and times running out.
