RE: 375 RUM OR 375 H & H?
I think a stainless/synthetic M70 in 375 H&H would make a great "Alaskan" gun. I am personally not confident the 375 RUM or 375 Ruger cartridges will be around in 10 years much less almost 100 years like the 375 H&H. If you are interested in a short barrel, Blaser makes a 19.75 inch "Tracker" barrel in 375 H&H for their R-93 that is a blast to shoot and super accurate.
