If you hunt alone you can do what you want when you want, I prefer it unless I can take my daughter it's great teaching a new hunter.

If your confident on your own go for it. I hunted alone my first year and got my turkey the third week, I just learned as much as could before I went. The most important call is the yelp if you have that along with advise from other hunters go for it.
