I have switched to the mechanicals a couple of years ago, and they work wonderfully on deer!! The Brand of choice for me is the Rocket line!! I would suggest their 100 gr Hammerhead, it has a huge 2" cut and they fly like darts!! Accuracy is the name of the game, and this is where the mechanical heads do shine!! Good luck!!
