I tie my own flies.

I have fished several lakes in Maine biggest being West Grand Lake.

I do not know what a golden trout is so never caught one.

I have caught some splake though .


I have never heard of a flier but, thoght it was one of those fish that drift in the air.

The strangest thing I caught was a polar tip-up while fish for lakers in West Lake and the reel kept letting line out and it was shooting this way and that. I realy thought I had a nice fish on, LOL..

Rocky sandy for white perch muddy and full of sticks for brookies..

The older style mepps minnow...

I like fishing deep for cold water fish. Do you or shallow for warm water fish??
