Default RE: Do you always use Magnum primers in your Magnum loads?

Hello Turk101 and Bigcountry. I can assure you that I was not trying to stir anything up. I know there are recommended loads using ball powder and a magnum primers. My problem is that someone sees a post on this forum that even mentions a mag primer in a specific caliber and guess what? There are issues using mag primers especially with ball powder when it is very hot. We hunt Dogs in the Dakotas in summertime when the temp can be 100 degrees or more. I would sure call a technition when in doubt. I will mellow out my posts. We all have our own ideas and experience, but calling a Sierra Techie that does this for a living seems prudent to me. Regards, Rick.
