To correct you Rammer, not all places in Texas are high-fenced. My family had 80 acres of FREE-RANGE, there was no high fence even remotely close to us. Also, I have hunted a ranch in Comfort, 1400 acres FREE RANGE, and there was one high fenced place around that area for youth hunters. Then I hunted in Del Rio. Hardest hunt of my life, completely free range, and i maybe saw 2 deer the whole week and went home with nothing. You cannot judge the whole state, I realize there are a lot of places high fenced there, but not all.
