Have you ever used the Oregon Cast Bullets? I like the Sierra 300 gr Pro Hunters and the 300 gr Hornady's. I was trying to find something a little cheaper to practice with. My gun likes IMR 4895 w/ CCI200 primers.
I have been using 300gr partitions in front of 46gr 4198. Gettin ready to work up a 3031 load with 300gr sierra. I use oregon trail in 44mag, and my 460Smith. With my microgroove barrel, I just won't spend the money on them with so many bad reports. I have used beartooth bullets.
