Changed the scope on the remington 22/250 went back to the range yesterday and took along my savage 22/250 model 12 low profile to try the a-maxes in,shot two 3-shot groups at 100 yds and the first 2 bullets in each group were in the same hole and the third was allmost touching.
Tryed the rem again with the a-max one hit the target board and don't know where the other 2 went.Tried the same load (34.5 grs 10x) with the BT 40 gr and shot a group less than 1/2 inch.
I just gave up on the 40 gr a-maxes in the remington figured I would shoot the a-max in the savage and the BT in the remington.
Winman you may have something on the copper,I thought I had it cleaned but will take your advise and give it a good cleaning with JB bore paste and try it again when I get time Thanks for the input.
