I hope this isn't too late. It depends on where you are. If you are out of state you would be best off to book with a guide or outfitter. There are quite a few in NE TX (east of Dallas). Most are very reasonable($150.00-$200.00/day). There are tons of hogs in that area of the state. I lived and hunted in TX for one year and although I didn't take a hog that year I saw lots of sign. This was in Sam Houston National Forest (Huntsville,TX). Check out
