Looking at building a custom 300 ultra mag with parts from net auction sites. Came across a Remington 700 SPS Long Action stock for under $50. Also picked up a remington 700 26" ultra mag barrel for less than $25. Both brand new with no scratches and never been fired.

1. Will these two work together?
2. How much do you think for the remaining parts (ie trigger, trigger guards, bolt, etc.)?
3. How much would a gunsmith bill me for building this if I supply all the components?
