I figured that out as well. Cold fish are better. In Maryland I could eat all the fish ...bass, suckers , catfish..they were all good. Down here is HOT , sunny Florida { To me} the fish taste???kind of grassy , I fixed a batch of crapie last night They were 5 star.


Also, nearly all of our fish are wormy. I have to hold the fillets to a light and cut out the little yellow rolled up worms that are about as big as a # 5 shot. There are usually about 2 -3 per fillet.
