Flemish are made of the Belgins who do not speak french. LOL!
Reb, flemish is only the way the strands of bow string are made. The strands are twisted together. Look at my strings. The endless loop strings are just wound around and around and the loops are then served with threads. The flemish strings are "woven' around each other and twisted like a rope.
Excel is a material and flemish is a way of making the string. Excel is a trade name of the string, different from dacron. Dacron is more "stretchy" than excel.
Sorry Reb donno about the date.
I make strings out of dacron and fast flight but do not make them out of excel.
I know this is confusing Reb so ask away!
