Why not dip and crest your arrows with paint? I began doing this several years ago and find it very enjoyable and rewarding - plus you end up with cool looking arrows. It cost a little up front, but the stuff lasts forever. Also, for my money, Trueflight feathers are the only way to go! Bohning's websight has some good info on arrow dipping and cresting. Have fun!
