I just received my late X-mas present it was a TC Encore with a SS barrel and the green laminated thumb-hole stock. It was exactly the gun I was looking for. I also got the Nikon Omega BDC scope and I want to install it using Leupold QD mounts. Here is what I need to know about the QD rings… I have front and rear sights on the rifle so how tall do I have to go with the rings? They come in low, med and high styles. I only want to go as high as necessary…so any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, AZbear
I have a TC Omega and I use the Leupold QD rings. I have a Bushnell 3x9 with a 50mm objective lens on it. If your scope is 40mm obj lens themedium will work, but if they are 50 then you have to go high.
I tried the 40 but the scope touched the barrel ever so slightly so I took them back and traded them for high mounts.
