Too many posts about shot guns and shells. Has any of you actually been out and done some bird hunting?
I have and had great times, we moved over 50 coveys of wild quail birds this weekend.
Released 1400 birds on the preserve and harvested 785 birds total.
Wild bird harvest so far this season has been 416 true wild quail.
we still have only hunted about 10% of the total acreage.
Broke or Finnest 11 Young Dogs this year.
9 English Setters
2 German Short Haired Pointers
Released a total of 8800 quail
285 Pheasants
655 Chukars
