Default Early season (bowhunting) rain gear

Looking to be pointed in the right direction. I need some new, un-insulated, early season rainwear, pants and a hooded parka. I have been using plain saddlecloth pants and hooded jacket for the past five years and the stuff really worked until I shredded it crossing a barbed wire fence before daylight. The last time I researched rain gear, 5 years ago, the market was dominated by Gore-Tex, which is over priced, and the low-end PVC plastic crap which is just unacceptable. As I look through the catalogs now there is a whole new list of quiet, soft and waterproof materials to choose from. I've been doing some reading and like the fact that I can now buy some quality gear, pants and parka, for around $200. I was wondering if you guys could tell me where you got your rain gear, what it is, approximate price, how durable and how well it works.

Thanks,
Toby
