Well I am guessing then you want to sell your Black Diamond and purchase the Omega. As for what you will get out of it will depend on the market and what you're willing to accept. All too often I see on Auction sites people with used muzzleloaders expecting to get near retail value for the rifle. Well if you watch, they seldom sell the rifles.

The worst part was the market was flooded with NIB Black Diamonds and even Omega Z5 for some prices that were hard to believe. I think you would have a good chance of selling you Black Diamond for a reasonable amount but I would hate to place a dollar value on it, or even tell you want I would be willing to pay. From the sound of the scope, it might be a Bushnell, but Bushnell is one of those companies that sell scopes from $60.00 all the way up to $400+.

Maybe that is the reason I never sell any of my rifles. I still like to shoot them, I know that what I would be offered for them would not be near my investment in most cases, so I just hold on to them and then purchase another and another, etc.

The Omega is without question a great rifle. Although at this stage, I might hold off and see what the Triumph has to offer as to my understanding it will not be a lot more in the cost department of a good Omega...
