i dont know of too many semi autos that are under 400. i only own brownings and remingtons and their entry semi autos are usually no less than $500, just a plain 870 WM pumpwill run about$600 ....around $400for the express. unless you look for a cheaper used model, icant think of anything new. even used rems. and brownings like the A5 willbring over$500 sometimes.
