I shoot a PSE Bruin I picked up at outdoor outfitters. I think the package deal was priced at $320.00. It did me well this past season. Its not as nice as the Hoyt I was looking at, but then the Hoyt was nearly $800 for the bow.Im happy with my PSE. Dont forget you will also have to pick up a release and some arrows, they can get a bit expensive. If you want to shoot my bow just send me a pm and we can meet up this weekend.
I was thinking PSE that's what my brother hunts with and he likes his. Being a student getting a complete setup for around $400 or lessis critical. davs2601 how's Outdoor Outfitters archery department? Do they have an indoor bow range? If they have all that I may just drop by on Friday and see what they have and talk to them and shoot some bows. Now shoot what draw weight and length I need so that will have to be measured I am sure.
