You are all right that shots on muley's are usually longer than what we whitetail hunters are used to. Should this shot of of the supposed 103 yds. been attempted is the question? In the conditions such as a crosswing and such i don't believe that this shot should have been taken, but in good conditions a practiced archer of that distance can take that shot. There should be a pin for that distance hold over is unacceptable, you must have a precise aiming reference. Would i ever attemp this shot? NO!! But i believe that there are people that under certain conditions can ethically take this shot.
