Also, people cant compare a round based upon howa deer dropped and then say "well my buddy shootsthis and the deer ran for 200yds". too many variables are there shot placement, bullet type. You must look at the facts.ballistics for the most part are fact. things to consider are trajectory,(how flat does it shoot) velocity, (whichcoresponds totrajectory) energy (relative to both velocity and bullet weight) and more important than muzzle energy is down range energy. I could shoot a deer in the head with a 22LR drop him dead @ 20 yds. does that make it a good deer rifle.......probably not. people tend to judge things based upon their experiences only and dismiss their own error too quickly
