RE: Hoyt Oasis
The Oasis became the Aspen in 1999, was the Oasis Plus in 1998 and was just the Oasis in 1997 so I'm assuming it is 1997 or earlier. This is a very nice bow for shooting target, very forgiving. It is a little slower (carbonite limbs with command cams should be around 220 fps area) but still a very nice bow. You can find out what cam it is by looking at the side of the cam. It should have stamped something like CT on the top or CB on the bottom. The C means command cam, a M means master cam, an A means advance cam and an E means energy cam. If I remember right new in 1998 when I got my Oasis Plus (basically the same) it cost $499. Depends on you, I would think you may be able to get it a little cheaper. If it fits you and you like it though then that is reason enough to get it.
