RE: Anyone have any experience with the Savage .17s?
I have one and love it. I have the plain wood one with the heavy barrel. With a good scope they are very accurate.
The marlins are pretty close to the same gun, equal value and performance for the most part.
Savage does offer some nicer models if you want to spend the extra cash though, and now they have the Accu Trigger on the rimfires as well.
