RE: Any Remington 710 shooters
If you go back a month or so ago on this forum there were several posts about the Remington 710.I have never heard so much negitive talk about any other rifle as the 710.There were a couple of people who liked it but that was few and far between. Your friend would be much better off paying a little more and get a Remington 700, Ruger M-77,Win Mod70. Savage makes a inexpensive rifle.The Remington 710 would be my last choice. I looked at one once. The bolt was rough and very cheap .The gray stock looks cheap. The barrel appears to be pressed in and not replaceable.Over all I would rate it very poor.Ruger Redhawk
